Grady S. Hurley, a partner in the Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was elected Secretary of the Maritime Law Association (MLA) during the organization’s General Meeting on May 4th, 2018 in New York City. Only four lawyers from New Orleans have ever held the position of Secretary or higher within the MLA. The MLA, founded in 1899, is a professional organization concerned with developments and improvements in maritime law.
