Grady S. Hurley, a partner in the firm's Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group in the New Orleans office, has been selected to serve on the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Executive Leadership Team for 2016 for Greater New Orleans. Jones Walker will sponsor the AHA New Orleans Heart Walk on November 12, 2016 to bring awareness to heart disease and stroke. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States, causing 40.6% of all deaths. However, 80% of cardiovascular disease is preventable.
