It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our former partner John Roumain Peters Jr. Mr. Peters died October 6, 2008. He joined the firm in 1963 after graduating from Tulane University Law School, and practiced at Jones Walker until his retirement. A memorial service was held at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Orleans on October 9, 2008. Burial was private.
