It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our former partner, Robert “Bob” R. Casey. Mr. Casey joined the firm in 1971 and was a member of the firm’s Tax Practice Group and, at the time of his death, was special counsel to the firm in his retirement. He provided tax and estate-planning counsel to individual and business clients in relation to acquisitions and sales of businesses. He concentrated on federal, Louisiana, and local income, estate, gift, and sales taxation, and was occasionally involved in tax controversy administrative work and litigation.
