Whit Rayner, a partner and co-leader of the intellectual property team, presented "Copyright Primer from the Private Sector" and “Intellectual Property, A Practitioner’s Response” at the STOPfakes Roadshow at Jackson State University on March 19, 2024. STOPfakes Roadshows are one-day seminars given by intellectual property rights professionals, delivering critically important information about intellectual property to start-ups, entrepreneurs, small and medium-size businesses, independent creators, and inventors. Other speakers included individuals from the International Trade Association, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Customs and Border Protection, and the FBI.
