Houston, TX, October 20 – The law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that James A. Ruoff has joined the firm as special counsel in the Houston office.
Mr. Ruoff joins the firm with over twenty-three years of experience as in-house counsel in the oil and gas industry including: Tenneco, Inc., Shell Oil Company and the El Paso Corporation. His experience includes natural gas contracts, FERC regulation of interstate natural gas pipelines, joint ventures, divestitures, LNG and telecommunications.
He received his J.D. from the University of Houston and B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
