Scott Jenkins, a partner and leader of the Maritime Practice Group, and Cindy Muller, a partner in the Maritime Practice Group and co-leader of the offshore wind initiative, participated in the panel session titled “Jones Act Update for Offshore Wind Operations” at the Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference on September 24, 2024. The panel discussed the US Customs and Border Protection Advance Ruling Program and the applicability of the Jones Act and Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to offshore wind operations. Richmond Beevers, Chief, Cargo Security, US Customs and Border Protection, also participated on the panel.
