Several Jones Walker attorneys recently participated in the Louisiana Energy Conference, held June 22-23, 2011, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Managing Partner, William H. Hines, introduced James McFarland of the Tulane Energy Institute, who served as panel moderator for “Deep Water & Shallow Water Gulf of Mexico Federal Updates”. Partners Carl D. Rosenblum and R. Christian Johnsen served as panelists for the discussion, with Mr. Rosenblum covering matters relating to litigation updates while Mr. Johnsen discussed legislative updates. Other members of the panel included Jim Noe, Nicolette Nye, and Michael Killalea.

In addition, partner Marjorie A. McKeithen served as moderator for “Onshore Louisiana - Exploration and Production Infrastructure Update,” while partner Michael B. Donald acted as a panelist. They were joined by Jim Welsh and Jodee Bruninckx.
