A group of Jones Walker attorneys made presentations to financial executives and financial reporting personnel who work for public and private companies in the region at the SEC Institute, hosted by Postlethwaite & Netterville on September 25 in New Orleans. M. Richard Schroeder spoke on compliance programs, and Allen E. Frederic, III and Theodore W. Jones made a presentation on raising capital with the JOBS Act. Kelly C. Simoneaux and Hope M. Spencer addressed management equity-based incentive plans. Jones Walker was also the lunch sponsor for the program, and Dionne M. Rousseau welcomed the group on behalf of the firm and introduced the luncheon keynote speaker, Suzanne Mestayer, Managing Principal of ThirtyNorth Investments. More than 100 people attended the conference.
