Asher J. Friend, a partner in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group, and Mark A. Cunningham, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, both in the New Orleans office, and Alexandra C. Layfield and Charles E. Reeves, Jr., both associates in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the Baton Rouge office, received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the NO/AIDS Task Force on October 17, 2013. The award recognizes outstanding volunteers who have given their time and talents to advance and protect the legal rights of people living with HIV and AIDS.
