Ted Jones, a partner in the Baton Rouge office, and a team of Jones Walkers attorneys, including Trevor Wilson, Graham Ryan, Clint Smith, John Zimmer, and Emily Gauthier, represented Benson Capital Partners in the formation of Benson Capital Fund I, LP, which initially closed on September 23, 2020, with more than $50 million raised. The fund represents the largest venture capital fund ever formed in the Gulf South and will target investment opportunities related to the region. Investors include Entergy, Raising Cane’s, and other Gulf Coast-based corporate leaders and entrepreneurs.
