On November 30, Jones Walker client, Lone Star Fasteners, a Houston-based oilfield manufacturer, was acquired for $33.5 million by a group of investors led by Dallas private equity firm, Trinity Hunt Partners. Trinity Hunt is funded primarily by anchor investments from the Hunt family and New York's Capital Z Investment Partners.  Lone Star, a fast growing company, makes specialty fasteners and gaskets primarily for the energy industry. Houston corporate & securities partner, Lisa Buchanan, led the Jones Walker team including Debra Guajardo, Sonny Nunes, Tim Brechtel, and Maggie Murphy representing Lone Star in the acquisition.
