Lafayette, La.— Jones Walker announced today that Kyle M. Bacon has been hired as a Special Counsel in the firm’s Lafayette office. Mr. Bacon, a member of Class XXIV of the nationally recognized Leadership Lafayette program, brings with him six years of experience in commercial litigation and business and transactional matters.
Kyle Bacon earned his juris doctor degree and his Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, in 2003. He was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in 2000 and was named the Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Management that year.
Mr. Bacon’s main practice areas are business law, corporate law, commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions and finance. He is a member of the Jones Walker Business, Banking and Commercial Transactions Practice Group. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Mr. Bacon was an associate in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller.
