Mr. Magner, a partner in the firm's New Orleans office, recently received two prestigious honors for his leadership as a national white collar crime litigator. This week Mr. Magner was awarded the National Law Journal's White Collar Trailblazers of 2015 Award. This accolade recognizes attorneys who continue to make their mark on white collar criminal litigation and show a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission.
Mr. Magner was also named to the Law360 White Collar MVP list, recognizing outstanding attorneys with extraordinary contributions in their areas of practice during the past year. Earlier this year Mr. Magner helped to secure a complete defense acquittal of the highest-ranking BP executive criminally charged in the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Mr. Lee and Ms. Pardee, both partners in the firm's New Orleans office, received the Criminal Justice Act Panel Attorney Award given by the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers at the 30th Annual Justice Albert Tate, Jr., Awards Banquet. The attorneys were recognized for their extraordinary commitment, professionalism, and achievement for their representation of a death row client in federal habeas proceedings since 2007.
