Brett Beter is an associate in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group. He is a 2015 graduate of Tulane University Law School, where he received a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, and a Certificate in Civil Law. Mr. Beter was the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Sports Lawyers Journal, a Legal Research and Writing Senior Fellow, and the Treasurer of the Sports Law Society. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, magna cum laude, and a minor in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2012, where he was a two-semester Portfolio Manager for the $2 million Student Managed Investment Fund and also studied International Politics at Imperial College in London, England, through Louisiana State University's study abroad program.

 

Joseph Davis is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable E. Grady Jolly of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Virginia Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Mr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from Mississippi State University.

 

Allison B. Kingsmill is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She is a 2015 graduate of Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree and a Diploma in Comparative Law, magna cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Kingsmill served as the Issues Editor and Senior Associate for the Louisiana Law Review and was also inducted into the Order of the Coif. Ms. Kingsmill received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, from Louisiana State University
