NEW ORLEANS – Jones Walker announced that Kim A. Perret has joined the firm as Chief Marketing Officer. Kim is a native of Louisiana and a LSU graduate. In her new role, she will lead the firm’s strategic marketing and client development efforts, and integrate the firm's business development, communications and public relations functions.

Kim comes to Jones Walker from Hunton & Williams in Washington, DC, where she served as Director of Marketing and Business Development since 2007. Prior to her tenure at Hunton & Williams, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
Active in the legal marketing industry, she was a two-term president of the Legal Marketing Association’s Capital Chapter in DC. Kim was then elected as the 2006 President of the international Legal Marketing Association, a 3000+ member organization of professionals working in the law firm industry. In November, Kim was inducted in the LMA Capital Chapter Hall of Fame. Additionally, she is the former board chair and board member of The Reading Connection, a children’s literacy non-profit, and currently serves on its Advisory Council. Kim is an incoming board member for The Pro Bono Project in New Orleans.
