On April 1, Ochsner Health System announced the completion of the purchase of NorthShore Regional Medical Center in Slidell, Louisiana, which will now be known as Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore. The medical center is a 165-bed acute care, full-service hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and the only PICU on the North Shore. Jones Walker represented Ochsner in this transaction. The purchase expands the Ochsner Health System to eight hospitals throughout Southeast Louisiana.
