Jones Walker was a sponsor of the 13th Annual Burkenroad Reports Investment Conference, presented by Tulane University's A. B. Freeman School of Business. Since 1993, Burkenroad Reports has been producing investment research reports, written and completed by students acting as financial analysts, on dozens of traditionally under-followed small-cap stocks of companies headquartered along the Gulf Coast. The program is designed to help business students develop practical equity analysis skills, and students present their findings in reports that are distributed at the conference. This year's conference, which took place on April 24 at the Chateau Bourbon Hotel in New Orleans, also provided investors with an opportunity to meet executives from the companies covered in the reports.
