On October 8, Jones Walker was a sponsor of the Annual Navy Day Luncheon held at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel. Admiral Edmund P.Giambastiani, Jr., USN, Supreme Allied Commander, Transformation Commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command, was the guest speaker. Jones Walker's general business and energy chair, Bill Hines was the general chairman of Navy Day 2004. Over 600 people attended the luncheon to recognize the Navy for its vital service to the free world and particularly for the economic impact the Navy brings to the Greater New Orleans Area with their naval bases and personnel.
