Jones Walker was a sponsor of the 2009 Capital Chefs' Showcase, held September 10 in Baton Rouge. The showcase is the main fundraising event for Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, and began in 1982 as a two-day cooking demonstration. Since then, the event has grown to feature more than 22 of the area's premier restaurants and caterers, as they present their specialty dishes for tasting by over 1,100 attendees. The annual showcase also includes a silent auction and raffle.

Since its inception, the Capital Chefs' Showcase has raised more than $2 million for Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge to provide programs and services for children and adults in the area living with cancer.
