On January 16, 2017, Jones Walker proudly sponsored the National Basketball Retired Players Association civil rights bus tour for children from the New Orleans area. The one-day journey takes place on Martin Luther King, Jr. day departing New Orleans early in the morning and touring several historic civil rights landmarks in Selma, Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
