Jones Walker is sponsoring a series of federal legislative briefings to assist companies, municipal governments and authorities, and other entities in understanding the benefits and impact of the recently passed federal legislation designed to provide incentives for rebuilding the Gulf Region. The first briefing session is on January 18 in Baton Rouge in conjunction with the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce at the Lod Cook Conference Center from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.. The next session is on January 23 in New Orleans in conjunction with Greater New Orleans, Inc. at the Hotel Intercontinental New Orleans from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  Other briefings planned for areas along the Gulf Coast will be announced. Congressional and state representatives have been invited to participate in these special briefings.
