Jones Walker is a sponsor of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad’s Third Annual Benefit Golf Classic, which will take place May 15, 2006 at the English Turn Golf and Country Club.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium, a cancer research partnership between Louisiana’s leading medical research institutions:  Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Tulane University Health Sciences Center.  The LCRC brings these two distinguished institutions together in order to magnify the high-quality cancer research, education, and treatments that each has been providing to Louisiana’s citizens for decades, thus increasing the state’s momentum in the field, attracting other talented researchers and new grant support.
