On October 26 and 27, Jones Walker sponsored the 2004 Louisiana Purchase Venture Capital Forum at the Sheraton Baton Rouge Convention Center Hotel.  The event included a panel discussion on “The Power of Angel Investing” featuring Baton Rouge partner Charles Landry.

This event, organized by the Baton Rouge Technology Council, brings together capital investors and Louisiana-based entrepreneurs who are positioning themselves to achieve the next level of business growth. The primary goal is to provide Louisiana start-ups and growth-oriented enterprises with a single venue for sources of investment capital. The Forum also serves as an educational opportunity for entrepreneurs who need guidance and experience to prepare for structured and planned growth.
