Jones Walker was a sponsor of Tulane University Law School's 22nd Annual Corporate Law Institute, held April 15–16 at the Roosevelt Waldorf-Astoria New Orleans. The annual conference focuses on relevant topics and updates to corporate and securities law. This year's event included presentations on the current M&A environment, the SEC's proposed approach to shareholder proxy access, managing antitrust risk in M&A transactions, the "distressed M&A" marketplace, and recent case law and statutory developments in Delaware, among other topics.
