On October 20, Jones Walker was a silver sponsor of the UNO Business Series, "Behind the Scenes, The Business of Entertainment – Take II," held at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans. The series was a spotlight on the city's hottest industry – entertainment. Speakers included Ernest Collins, executive director, Mayor's Office of Arts & Entertainment, Ray Wooldridge, co-owner of New Orleans Hornets & president of Big Play Entertainment,  Blaine Kern, Sr., chairman of the board of  Kern Studios, and Allen Toussaint, singer, songwriter, producer and Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame resident.
