On August 20, Jones Walker was a Bronze Sponsor of The Young Leadership Council's 2005 Role Model Awards Gala held at the Sheraton Hotel New Orleans. At the gala, 25 outstanding community leaders were honored for their accomplishments. In 2002, Bill Hines, executive committee chair of Jones Walker, was recognized as a role model and outstanding community leader. Litigation attorney, Aimee Quirk, serves as an executive board member of the YLC and maritime attorney, Chris Mann, serves on the board of directors. The YLC is a non-profit, non-partisan civic organization created to develop leadership through community projects.
