On April 27, Jones Walker tax attorneys Bill Backstrom, Sonny Nunes, Mike McLoughlin and Mark Hennen presented at the Sales and Use Tax in Louisiana seminar co-sponsored by Lorman Education Services. The one-day seminar was held at the Hotel Inter-Continental New Orleans and offered an overview of  Louisiana sales/use tax laws, including collection liabilities, exemptions and exclusions, issues involved with interstate sales, and procedures and enforcement of sales and use tax.
