Jones Walker is the Platinum sponsor for the Louisiana Business and Technology Center's "2012 LSU Innovation Challenge" to be held on April 19–20, 2012 at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on the LSU campus. This event showcases Louisiana's brightest entrepreneurs and provides them access to the resources needed to achieve long-term success. The program also aims to be instrumental in retaining university graduates in Louisiana and promoting job creation.

Robert C. Tucker, a partner in the firm's litigation practice, will be speaking at the event and will also take part as a judge in the final round of competition. This is one of three entrepreneur-focused events that the firm is sponsoring in Louisiana including The Idea Village's "New Orleans Entrepreneur Week" from March 10–16, 2012 as well as Louisiana Tech's "Top Dawg Competition" on April 17, 2012.
