Jones Walker LLP announced today that Jeffrey King has joined the firm as special counsel in the Litigation Practice Group in the Miami office.
With more than 45 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, Jeffrey advises clients on corporate transactions and legislative and regulatory developments. His practice focuses on government contracts, construction, antitrust, intellectual property, and employment disputes. Over the course of his career, Jeffrey has recovered more than $300 million for government contract underpayments, represented employers on wage and hour claims, won millions of dollars in breach of contract suits, successfully defended clients in antitrust litigation, and tried numerous other claims in state and federal court.
Prior to joining Jones Walker, Jeff taught law, ethics, and risk management at the Graduate Business School at George Washington University. He has written six books on legislative and regulatory developments and serves as a frequent lecturer and columnist on legal issues impacting the construction industry.
Jeffrey earned his BA from State University of New York at Brockport and his JD from Albany Law School of Union University. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
