Jennifer Kogos, a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, presented during the 2021 Dallas Regional Compliance and Ethics Conference hosted by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics on Friday, October 22. Her topic, "Complying with Employment and Safety Laws During a Pandemic," explored legal and practical considerations for employers regarding the COVID-19 vaccine including the decision to mandate the vaccine and appropriate accommodations, Americans with Disabilities Act rules on medical testing and accommodations in general and in light of COVID-19, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules for employers in the COVID-19 era.
