Craig N. Landrum, a partner in the Jackson office and co-leader of the Banking and Financial Services Industry Team, together with Phyllis Woodard, led a discussion on consumer compliance updates during the quarterly meeting of the Banking Compliance Task Force (BCTF) on July 18, 2018. The BCTF is a group of compliance representatives from more than 40 community banks working together to address mutual compliance problems and provide support and training. Along with quarterly compliance updates, Jones Walker provides members of the BCTF advice in all areas of regulatory compliance. Additionally, members have access to compliance audits, fair lending reviews, risk assessments, in-house training, and a number of other services.
