Joe Lavigne, a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, and Micah Fincher, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, presented “Protect Your Company’s IP at Startup or Pay the Price Later” during the 2021 New Orleans Entrepreneur Week on March 23, 2021.  The pair addressed the necessary actions that startups should take to protect confidential, proprietary, and trade secret information, including establishing confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, work for hire agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, proper IT security controls, and computer and email use policies.
