Andy Lee, partner and co-leader of the firm's privacy, data strategy, and artificial intelligence team, and Jim Kearns, special counsel in the Maritime Practice Group, presented at the Inland Marine Expo in Nashville, Tennessee May 29–30, 2025. Jim moderated a panel on incentives for investing in domestic marine transportation and shipbuilding, discussing programs like Title XI, the Capital Construction Fund, and future opportunities, such as the SHIPS for America Act. Andy led a panel on maritime cybersecurity, focusing on new United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations requiring minimum cybersecurity standards for the US Marine Transportation System, with panelists including experts from Universal Strategy Group and the USCG.
