Bill Horton, a partner in the Birmingham office and co-leader of the Healthcare Industry Team, presented “Legal Ethics: Protecting the Attorney Client Privilege in a Compliance Program” at the American Health Lawyers Association’s Fraud and Compliance Forum held September 25–27 in Baltimore. The presentation provided practical guidance to lawyers and compliance officers on preserving attorney-client privilege during a compliance investigation and discussed other related professional responsibility issues.
