Sid Lewis, a partner and leader of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, and Alex Glaser, a partner in the Tax Practice Group, participated as panelists in a national Zoom seminar sponsored by the Construction Management Association of America on August 6, 2020. Sid and Alex spoke to the more than 100 attendees on how construction employers can comply with various COVID-related employment, benefits and tax laws, namely paid Family and Medical Leave (EFMLA), paid COVID-related sick leave (EPSL), the Payroll Protection Program (PPP), as well as numerous employment benefits and tax issues unique to this pandemic.
