The article titled, "Religion Calls for Delicate Balance in the Work Place," discusses the growing challenges of employers accommodating their employees' religious beliefs. The article explains that employers are required by federal law to accommodate employees' religious observances as long as the requests do not impact how the business is run. Mr. Lewis stresses the importance of the employer having proof that it cannot conduct business properly if it accommodates the employee's request. He also encourages employers to make an effort to keep their own religious practices outside of the workplace.
