Michael W. Magner, a partner on the White Collar Defense team in the New Orleans office and former federal prosecutor, moderated a panel at the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) annual meeting in Lisbon, Portugal July 7 – 12, 2018. The panel, “Whistleblowers: International Phantom Menaces or Jedi Knights?” discussed the whistleblower phenomenon, particularly in the case of transnational investigations, and how to implement effective compliance programs to prevent and mitigate damage.
