Michael W. Magner, special counsel in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the New Orleans office, presented, "Financial Crime Fundamentals," to the New Orleans Paralegal Association on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Mr. Magner, a former white collar federal prosecutor with more than 20 years of experience, discussed various methods used to investigate financial crimes and to prepare for trial in complex matters. In particular, he focused on various techniques to make sophisticated financial issues easily understood by courts and juries.
