Maritime & Admiralty Attorneys to Participate in Tulane Admiralty Law Institute

Partner Robert B. Acomb, Jr. will chair the Tulane University Law School's 22nd biennial Admiralty Law Institute, which will be held from March 11–13, 2009, on Tulane's campus. The biennial seminar attracts hundreds of maritime attorneys and shipping executives from throughout the world, and recent Admiralty Law Institute topics include damages in maritime law; towage, salvage, pilotage, and pollution; maritime insurance; and terminal operations. The topic of the upcoming institute is "Troubled Waters—Admiralty Law: Insurance, Pollution and Finance Issues." Additionally, partner Grady S. Hurley will moderate a panel discussion on maritime punitive damages.
