Jones Walker Maritime Practice Group members participated in the Maritime Law Association (MLA) 2025 Fall Meeting in Washington, DC on October 17, 2025. Grady Hurley, a partner in the Maritime Practice Group and president of the MLA, presided over the meeting. Partners Chris Johnsen, Chris Hannan, and Will Baldwin; special counsel Julia Banegas; and associate Hailey Dennis also participated in the event's committee meetings. The MLA’s committees and the association as a whole meet in the spring and fall of each year.
