Justin Marocco and Brett Venn, partners in the Litigation Practice Group in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans offices, presented at the Louisiana Section of the Air and Waste Management Association’s (AWMA) Annual Conference on October 30, 2024. In their presentation “Louisiana’s CCS Landscape,” Justin and Brett discussed recent developments in Louisiana CCS, including bills proposed and passed during the 2024 Legislative session, EPA’s final rule granting primacy to Louisiana for Class VI wells used for CCS, and litigation challenging the final rule.
