Marjorie A. McKeithen, of counsel to the firm, has been elected to the board of directors of Lighthouse for the Blind New Orleans. The nonprofit organization was founded in 1915 to provide jobs for the blind and visually impaired. Today, Lighthouse for the Blind New Orleans remains dedicated to providing programs that focus on economic opportunity and self-reliance, promoting independence the blind and visually impaired. In addition to a core, modern manufacturing operation that employs people with vision impairments, the Lighthouse offers a range of independent living, competitive employment, and health-related services.
