Jennifer Kogos and Sid Lewis, partners in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, presented “Mid-Year Employment Update – How to End 2024 In Compliance” to members of the ACC Louisiana (Association of Corporate Counsel) on July 19, 2024. The pair educated attendees on key updates related to the FTC non-compete ban, DOL salary threshold increase/basis test, Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act, medical marijuana, religious accommodation, new Title VII threshold test, and NLRB-created Issues. They provided real world examples of how to deal with employees and still comply with these laws.
