Cindy Muller, special counsel in the firm’s Houston office, moderated the panel titled, “Innovation and Disruption: The Insurance and Risk Manager’s Perspective,” at the Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference on September 16, 2019. Panelists provided attendees an in-house perspective to issues such as reserve recommendations in compliance with FASB standards, enterprise risk management and in house risk mitigation tools, contracting terms in the current market, and leveraging land based claims practices in an offshore environment.
