Aileen Thomas, a partner in the Tax Practice Group in the Jackson office, presented at the Novogradac 2026 New Markets Tax Credit Conference on January 23, 2026, in San Diego, California. Aileen participated in the “NMTC Application: A Fundamental First Step” panel, which broke down how to prepare and improve NMTC applications for the next allocation round, how CDEs should address areas of deep distress and other investment areas emphasized by the CDFI Fund, and how to prepare for future application rounds.
