Aileen Thomas, a partner on the tax credit finance team, presented at the Novogradac Fall New Markets Tax Credit Conference on October 25 and October 26, 2023. Aileen's presentation on October 25, "NMTC Beyond the Basics Workshop," focused on the New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) program, which incentivizes community development and economic growth through the use of tax credits that attract private investment to distressed communities. Her second presentation on October 26, "Stakeholders Speak Out," focused on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses participating in the NMTC program for the first time.
