Noe and Smith Author RealClearEnergy Article on Post-Election Climate Change Policy

Jim Noe, a partner in the Government Relations Practice Group, and Meghan Smith, co-team leader of the firm’s environmental litigation team, authored the RealClearEnergy article “Possible, Probable, or Unlikely? Climate Change Policy in a Biden Administration” on possible climate change policy in the new presidential administration. The article examines the deregulatory actions taken under the Trump administration and potential actions the Biden administration will take toward enacting climate change policy. Jim and Meghan also discuss options that Biden will have to create climate change policy – attempting to pass legislation in a narrowly-divided Congress or enacting executive orders that could face immediate litigation.
