Avery Pardee, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, was elected as the 2022 president of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL) on December 28, 2021. Avery was elected to further the mission of the LACDL to promote a fair, accurate and humane criminal justice system through education, advocacy and the development of effective and professional defense lawyers. The association hosts seminars, participates in legislative advocacy, offers attorney assistance, and fosters a network of leading criminal defense lawyers.
