Kaytie Pickett, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and co-leader of the commercial disputes team in the Jackson office, has been appointed to the Merit Selection Panel for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Kaytie, together with fellow panel members, will assist the court in identifying and recommending the individuals who are best qualified to fill the position of full-time United States Magistrate Judge. The panel has been assembled to replace the retiring Magistrate Judge Michael T. Parker.
